Local businesses and community leaders went to “jail” on Wednesday, March 31st, to help MDA raise funds for families in the Palm Coast area with one of the 43 neuromuscular diseases. Over 80 jailbirds were “put in the slammer” for MDA’s Palm Coast Lock-Up. The event was held from 9a.m.– 3p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, and raised over $31,076! At the “slammer,” the “jailbirds” were booked, had their mug shots taken and were provided gourmet “bread and water”. While they made phone called pledging for bail to provide services and critical research for local families in the Palm Coast area.
